Unlike their Tamil contemporaries, the Tollywood heroes are still way backward in expanding their market beyond Telugu. While most of the Tamil heroes have established a good market in Telugu, our heroes are still trying to expand their market.
While the likes of Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu, and Allu Arjun are on their way to establish stardom in Tamil, young hero Nikhil too focussing on expanding his market in the Tamil. The hero who is basking in the glory of recent superhit “Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada,” said he’s in plans to expand his market in Tamil as well.
“I was supposed to enter Tamil industry with ‘Karthikeya’, which was simultaneously made as a bilingual. However, the Tamil version still hasn’t released for reasons unknown. Whenever I go to Chennai, people refer to me as the guy holding a spade from the poster of ‘Karthikeya’. It feels nice to get noticed,” Nikhil revealed.
The actor further said, I’m in the process of stabilizing my career in Telugu. I wouldn’t want to jeopardize it at any cost. But if there’s any interesting Tamil project, I would love to do it.”
