S.S. Rajamouli, who showcased the power of Telugu cinema on the global platform with the magnum opus “Baahubali,” is not just known for his blockbuster movies alone, but his friendly gestures towards the fellow filmmakers and actors as well. Rajamouli hardly misses a chance to appreciate the good work done by his fellow competitors and make it a point to appreciate them. The ace director who watched Krish’s ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni,’ was spellbound by the movie as the whole and showered heaps of praise on the director, and the lead cast. Rajamouli, who interviewed Krish post the release of ‘GPSK,’ has revealed some interesting facts about the movie. Rajamouli said that he turned an admirer of Krish after watching his films like ‘Gamyam’ and ‘Vedam but, was shocked when Krish announced his film with Balakrishna. Krish’s movies are dealt with human emotions and relationships sensitively, while Balakrishna’s movies are replete with heavy action scenes and powerful dialogues. Considering the same, Rajamouli said he was shocked just like any movie goer and felt that the unusual combo of Balakrishna and Krish would result in a box-office debacle. The roaring success of GPSK has proved him wrong and Rajamouli is highly pleased with the movie’s result and appreciated Krish for delivering such a humongous blockbuster.
